Caleb grew up coming to camp as the “speaker’s kid” and after he turned 14 he started counseling. He has participated in the 2015 and 2017 summer internships. After his 2017 summer internship he decided to join the Camp Family and become a year long intern. As an intern he lives with and looks over the Hartley House residents, is involved with construction projects, Special Olympics, a local youth group and The Able Church.
Year-Long Missionary Intern
The missionary aspect of being a year-long intern is a large part of an intern’s experience and growth during their year. All the staff at Camp Daniel are full time missionaries to people with disabilities, and like most missionaries, Caleb will need to raise financial support to pay rent, food, transportation, and other living expenses. His monthly expenses are $150 for rent, $150 for food, $100 for transportation, and $100 for other living expenses. He asks for your financial support, whether it be $10, $20, $50, or $100 a month.
