All our staff are missionaries serving people with disabilities and the communities in which they live. They also raise their own financial support to pay for their living expenses.

Tony & Karol Piantine


Tony and Karol Piantine are Camp Daniel’s Directors and co-founded Camp Daniel along with Tony Sr. and Jo Piantine. They oversee all the ministry, missionaries, and residents at Camp Daniel. Tony and Karol are the also the houseparents of the Hartley House group home. They have two children; Annissa is attending Madison College and Anthony is a student at Crivitz High School.

Jen & Marceaux Bury


Jen came to Camp Daniel in 2007 and Marceaux in 2009. In 2010 they were married, and now have one son named MJ. Marceaux does mechanical repairs, janitorial duties, and general maintenance. Jen focuses on summer camp registration, updating the database, and maintains the gardens. In addition to their work at camp, they are involved in the disability community in both Marinette and Crivitz areas. Together they created and manage the Crivitz Area Special Olympics agency.

Evan & Annissa Hartwig


Annissa and Evan met as counselors in 2011 before they were married in January of 2018. Evan has his bachelors degree in Business Administration. He will be working as Lead Web Developer, Summer Intern Director, and Assist to the Camp Director in addition to helping with general camp maintenance and construction. Annissa has her associates degree in Meeting and Event Management. She will be working as Event Coordinator, Social Media & Marketing Administrator, Camp Photographer, and Summer Intern Director.

Caleb Crawford

Year-Long Missionary Intern

Caleb grew up coming to camp as the “speaker’s kid” and after he turned 14 he started  counseling. He has participated in the 2015 and 2017 summer internships. After his 2017 summer internship he decided to join the Camp Family and become a year long intern. As an intern he lives with and looks over the Hartley House residents, is involved with construction projects, Special Olympics, a local youth group and The Able Church.
