The Hub Student Ministry

Missions Team

Camp Daniel is an organization dedicated to providing opportunities for people with disabilities to grow personally, socially and spiritually through summer camp.

Everyone participates in lots of activities designed to reinforce the concept of our need for each other and the value of our differences. Camp Daniel believes and teaches that God made us, God loves us and God has a plan for our life. This trip provides a great opportunity for us to practice the love Jesus requires from us through sacrifice and giving of ourselves.

Disability Culture – We will be exposed to another culture, disability. We will learn how to communicate, care for and unconditionally love people with disabilities.

Spiritual Growth – We will attend morning and evening services and build genuine community that will guide our faith in Jesus to become more powerful and real. Through this year’s theme, Shine, we will learn that we all have the power to shine love into the world and make a difference.

Please consider donating to our team. Your support is crucial in getting us on this life-changing trip! Thank you for your love and support.

About Camp Daniel:

Camp Daniel is an organization dedicated to providing people with disabilities opportunities for personal, social and spiritual growth. Camp Daniel is rooted in its summer camping program that offers people with disabilities access to safe and fun Northwoods camping experiences, where the physical, social, and spiritual needs, that each person’s disability requires, are lovingly met. Through each week of camp, staff and volunteers works toward imparting the belief that each of us have value and been given gifts to offer others. Each camper and volunteer participates in a multitude of activities designed to reinforce the concept of our need for each other and the value of our differences.
